What we make

Eigenstate Labs is one considered collection, not a pile of disconnected calculators. Each instrument answers a single question, whether that is balancing a chemical equation, choosing the right statistical test, or decoding an unfamiliar symbol, and then gets out of your way. The collection spans statistics, chemistry, physics, biology, math, notation, and academic writing, with more added over time. Every instrument runs in your browser, so you get an instant answer with nothing to install and no account to create.

Our honesty contract

We hold ourselves to four standing promises. They are not marketing; they describe how the tools actually work. If one of them ever changes, you will read it here first, in plain language, before it ships.

• Just the answer. The instrument is the first thing on every page. The explanation, the method, and the assumptions sit below the result, never in front of it.
• No funnel. The result is never gated behind a signup, an email wall, or an ad. You get the answer, not a sales pitch.
• We show our work. Every instrument names the method it runs and states its assumptions. Where it relies on a published value, it cites the source behind it.
• Your numbers stay yours. The numbers you enter are computed on your device and are not sent to us.

How we make money

Today the tools are free and ad-free, with no affiliate or lead-generation deals, the kind of arrangements that quietly turn a free tool into a sales funnel. If we ever add a paid option, it will be extra depth on top of tools that stay free, and we will explain it here first.

Your numbers stay yours

The numbers you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to us. Today, nothing you enter is stored in a server-side account or database. A few instruments that remember your work, such as a saved data set or a worked calculation, keep it in your browser's local storage on your device, and you can clear it at any time. How we show our work

We believe an instrument you can't check isn't worth trusting. Each one shows the method it uses and, where it relies on a published value, links the authoritative source behind it: bodies such as NIST, IUPAC, and standard statistical references. Our methodology page explains how we choose methods, what we mean by an estimate, and how we review the tools that depend on values that change. We are not a financial, medical, or legal adviser, and we never invent reviews, ratings, or credentials we don't have. The outputs are educational estimates to help you think and check your work; see our disclaimer for what that means.
